Enhance Self-Esteem.

Increase Sexual Satisfaction.

Many women feel insecure about the appearance and the function of their genital areas. An abnormal appearance of labia minora can cause insecurity and low self-esteem. Enlarged or misshapen labia minoras tend to produce irritation, discomfort, avoidance of sexual activity and difficulty exercising.

You may have born with saggy and lax vaginal skin or had damaged your labia due to previous labor, forceps injury, inadequately repaired episiotomy, female “circumcision”, or simply the effect of aging, weight loss/weight gain and menopause taken its toll and resulted in “unpleasant look and lack of function” of the female genital areas. Labiaplasty (Labia Minora Reduction Surgery, Labioplasty) can boost your confidence and eliminate discomfort due to an enlarged labia minora or labia major

There are two types of labiaplasty surgeries:

Labia Minora (inner vaginal lips) Reduction: Many women do not like the physical appearance of a large labia minora as it can be embarrassing to themselves or their sexual partner. Large labia may result from trauma, childbirth, advancing age, or some women are just born with large labia. Large labia minora can also cause problems with sporting activities and exercise. Labia minora reduction or labiaplasty can greatly improve a woman’s quality of life. This type of labiaplasty surgery “labia minora reduction” is often referred to simply as “labiaplasty”.

Labia Majora (outer vaginal lips) Reduction: This can be caused by childbirth, weight gain or loss or a woman can develop a large labia majora. Usually, liposuction or trimming the labia majora (labia majora reduction) will greatly improve the look and cosmetic appearance.

You are a candidate for labiaplasty if you feel you have:
• Protruding or asymmetrical labia minora or majora
• Thickened labia minora or majora
• Labia or vaginal lips that you would like reshaped

Does labiaplasty surgery hurt? Prior to your labia minora reduction surgery, you will be administered local anesthesia to ensure your comfort or full anesthesia. You will feel no pain whatsoever during the procedure. After surgery, any pain or discomfort you may experience will be controlled through medication and will usually subside within a matter of days.

Types of Anesthesia
The type of anesthesia used depends on the extent of your procedure, your tolerance for minor discomfort, and your anxiety level. Often the procedure can be completed with local anesthetic only. The discomfort from the numbing medicine being injected is very brief, and no pain is felt during the actual procedure. Oral medication can also be given to reduce anxiety. While general anesthesia is not necessary for the procedure, intravenous sedation can be used so the patient sleeps through the procedure and experiences no discomfort.

Labiaplasty – for comfort & self-esteem

Labiaplasty is a cosmetic genital surgical procedure that will reduce the size or change the shape of the small lips on the outside of the vagina (the labia minora).

Many women are born with large or irregular labia. Others develop this condition after childbirth or with aging. The appearance of the enlarged labia can cause embarrassment with a sexual partner or loss of self esteem. Some women just want to look “prettier” like the women they see in magazines or in films.

Chronic labial irritation can sometimes develop in women who wear tight clothing. Discomfort can occur with sex, sports or other physical activities.
